Mediterranean Tel Aviv, cosmopolitan and contemporary.
Beaches and a line of high-rise hotels on the coast, Bauhaus buildings in the downtown, a bit over-manicured (to my taste) ‘Old’ port of Jaffa.
It is casual, lively, never sleeping city with traffic jams on six lane highways and street art on the walls of buildings partially destroyed by terrorists.
City of people for whom it is too cold for swimming when the water temperature is lower than 23C.
Of course, couple of days we spent there were not enough even to touch the surface 🙁
